NCOD 2007

A design for National Coming Out Day. Rainbow Pride colors are distributed two apiece through custom "ncod" letters, which are designed to be both modern and retro. The date in black corner triangles reads rhythmically: OCTOBER ELEVEN, TWO THOUSAND SEVEN.

On October 11, 1987, the March on Washington for Lesbian and Gay Rights drew hundreds of thousands of people and led to a national celebration of coming out. Today, the Human Right Campaign (HRC) promotes honesty and openness about being gay, lesbian, bi, or trans in its National Coming Out Project, culminating every October 11 in National Coming Out Day.
